Service is great. The food sells out in under 30 minutes. Take cash only and wear a mask. The line is outside the door because inside is very small.

This place evoked mixed feelings for me. First of all, I want to mention that the area did not feel very safe to me personally. There is also a noticeable homeless presence in the surrounding area, which contributed to the overall feeling of discomfort. Knowing that in advance, I probably would not have chosen to come here. Another thing to be aware of is that wearing a mask is required, or if you do not have one, they will provide a paper towel for you to cover your mouth and nose, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. If you are expecting traditional handmade craft mochi, you might also be a bit disappointed. The fillings seemed more like store-bought jam and likely pre-made sweet bean paste. There were also fresh berry fillings available, but overall the mochi were quite large with a very thick rice dough layer. As someone who really enjoys mochi, I was curious to try it, but unfortunately the overall experience did not meet my expectations. For me personally, both the location and the taste made it unlikely that I would return.

EVERYTHING is yummy and fresh! We like all of the fruit filled mochi. You will enjoy the many varieties of sweet bean mochi as well. No bills larger than $20 accepted and it's easy to spend much more than that especially if you want to save some for another day. It's worth every penny. The leftovers keeps very well in the fridge in the original box or a sealed container.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Was visiting from LA and my aunt wanted to try this place. Got here early and got one of everything! A bit disappointed that they didnt have plain mochi (i.e. rainbow dango, kinako mochi). STOREFRONT: Small, currently require guests to wear masks. ORDERED: Mochi with mung bean, mochi with red bean, mochi wihth fruit filling (cinnamon apple, apricot, peach). The fruit filling is jam-like and a bit sweet. SERVICE: Service was good, and they were friendly.

Very small old Asian folk store. Was there for their mochi. Its amazing. Amazing good and it's only $1.50 each. Be there early cuz they don't make more , what they got in the morning is what they got. The Bao are okay but I was there for mochi. Got a lot of Bao cuz I thought there were mochi too.
